Road2Openness development starts

2. August 2021

At the innOsci Future Labs last year, experts discussed how to systematically strengthen open science practices at universities. The idea of an assessment tool was developed as a prototype to record current open science activities at universities and to support them with recommendations for organizational development in the field of open science.

We, six experts funded by the Stifterverband der deutschen Wissenschaft, will now develop a prototype of this self-assessment tool. The first step will be the selection of universities that will participate in the development of the tool as pilot partners. After this phase, it will also be available for testing by other universities beyond the circle of partner institutions.
